Mindele Na Biso (2022)
Democratic Republic of the Congo. Eric, Julio, Véronique, Nathan, Abdul, Alex and Jean-Louis share a common point, they live with albinism. Here in Central Africa, this rare condition impacts all aspects of their lives : in family and society, their access to health and even safety. Together they lead us through the Congo, from Kinshasa to the heart of the equatorial forest, to understand what living with albinism means.
The Dry Ones (2021)
South-eastern Morocco, Sahara. Home to the largest palm grove in the world, the region is now suffering from an unprecedented drought. The residents are worried, they see their daily lives transformed by the lack of water. Dried up, the land is no longer usable, the nomads are becoming sedentary and lifestyles are changing. Houcine, Mohamed and Imad opened their doors to us in order to understand what are now the real challenges of desertification.
Children of Shame (2021)
In many societies, we find that unmarried mothers are stigmatized and excluded from social life. Those extreme circumstances make them place their newborns in front of a church, a mosque or a police station. The official figures for Morocco state that around 9,000 babies are “put away” every year.
To enable a better future for those children, Hansjörg Huber mades his vision real and created the Atlas Children, a village for abandoned children from scratch, located in the high Atlas mountains.
